Naoto Hida

Executive Officer

In 2004, he joined Vodafone (acquired by Softbank in 2006) as a new graduate and started his career as an IT engineer. In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, he moved to the president's office at SoftBank and contributed to the establishment of a natural energy business company. In addition to our natural energy business, we established the Natural Energy Council together with local governments across the country, and as its secretariat, we focused on lobbying activities such as policy advocacy and contributed to rule-making.

In 2017, he was fascinated by the innovation of Bitcoin and started disseminating information on X (formerly Twitter). After that, he joined bitFlyer in 2019, believing in the future of blockchain and crypto assets. After joining the company, he has been in charge of a wide range of areas including the president's office, PR work, external relations work, and business strategy, as well as serving as the secretariat of the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA), and is working hard to popularize and expand the crypto assets and web3 industry.
