Ryota Sasaki

After spending her childhood and elementary school years in London, England, she graduated from junior high and high school in Tokyo. After passing the old bar exam while attending the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, he took up judicial training (55th term).

After joining Tomotsune Kimura Law Office (currently Anderson Mori & Tomotsune Law Office), he provided corporate legal services to domestic and overseas companies mainly in the fields of capital markets (IPO, global offerings, etc.) and M&A. After that, he was seconded to JPMorgan Securities Co., Ltd.'s Investment Banking Headquarters as a lawyer for two years and engaged in capital markets and M&A advisory services, then obtained an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from INSEAD in France.

After returning to Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, he engaged in capital markets and M&A advisory services at the Investment Banking Headquarters of Barclays Securities Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, and then mainly engaged in M&A advisory work as a managing director of SMBC Nikko Securities Co., Ltd.'s M&A Advisory Headquarters.

In March 2023, he was appointed as director and CFO of bitFlyer Holdings, Inc., and serves as director of bitFlyer, Inc., bitFlyer Blockchain, Inc., and director of bitFlyer EUROPE S.A. in Luxembourg, as well as director of Custodiem, Inc. from July 2024.
