In 2003, while still in high school, he participated in the Security Koshien sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and in 2006 he completed a security camp.He became interested in the field of information security from an early age, and in 2010 he graduated from the Kyushu Institute of Technology Graduate School of Information Engineering.
In the same year, he joined Rakuten, Inc. as a new graduate. In addition to engaging in general CSIRT-related work, he was also responsible for establishing a security department in the United States and security management work for a subsidiary, and was posted to New York for a year and a half. Promoted building a global security system.
In August 2018, in a situation where security measures were urgently needed in the crypto asset industry, he joined bitFlyer Co., Ltd. to tackle this issue. Since then, he has been responsible for planning and implementing security strategies for the entire bitFlyer Group, and is focusing on contributing to strengthening the industry's security system.
From June 2020 to May 2022, he served as a member of the steering committee of the Phishing Countermeasures Council and was engaged in countermeasures against phishing sites in Japan. He also joined the Digital Agency in September 2021 when it was launched, and is currently involved in promoting security policy in the government.
