Software Engineer in Test (Manager / Member)

Background
bitFlyer operates crypto asset trading services globally and handles more than one trillion yen in customer assets, which demands both high reliability and rapid development. We are strengthening our Software Engineer in Test (SET) function, which supports product quality from the technical side. To drive quality improvements through test automation and better development and verification environments while maintaining and improving development speed, we are looking for an engineer who can lead or execute in the SET domain.
Responsibilities
Building and maintaining test environments
Designing and developing test automation and testing tools
Designing and implementing code-level tests such as unit, integration, and E2E tests
Streamlining the quality assurance process through integration with CI/CD pipelines
Improving the overall quality assurance process and providing technical support (test strategy formulation, issue analysis, etc.)
Scope of change in duties: After joining, you may be reassigned to any duties designated by the company.
- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (conversational level)
■Experience developing or testing web applications (3+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■Hands-on experience designing and developing automated tests and building testing tools
■Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
■Experience developing and operating automated tests on any of the web, iOS, or Android platforms

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥5,000,000–¥10,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥308,167–¥616,434
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥108,500–¥216,900 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
