Payments & Settlements (Manager / Member)
Background
bitFlyer is strengthening its deposit and withdrawal operations for both Japanese yen and crypto assets so that customers can use our crypto asset trading services with confidence. Deposits and withdrawals are a critical process that directly involves the movement of customer assets. In this role, you will support accurate and fast financial operations through verifying transaction data, processing deposits and withdrawals, handling errors, and coordinating with related departments.
Responsibilities
Verifying, reconciling, and processing Japanese yen deposits and withdrawals
Verifying, reconciling, and processing crypto asset deposits and withdrawals
Checking transaction data, deposit and withdrawal statuses, and error details
First-line review of errors, returned transactions, and irregular cases, and coordination within the company
Maintaining operational manuals, checklists, and workflows
Designing and monitoring KPIs and planning improvement measures
Improving operations to raise processing quality, reduce errors, and increase processing speed
Carrying out operations in line with laws and regulations, internal rules, and risk management policies
Scope of change in duties: After joining, you may be reassigned to any duties designated by the company.
- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (native level)
■Operational experience in deposits and withdrawals, payments, or remittances at a financial institution, fintech company, or payments-related company
■Experience with data verification, data entry, and reconciliation work requiring a high degree of accuracy
■Basic skills in Excel, Word, email, and internal systems
■Ability to perform work consistently in accordance with established rules and procedures
■Communication skills to work smoothly with colleagues across the company
■Interest in crypto assets, fintech, and the payments field
■Experience using AI tools (such as generative AI) at work, or literacy in AI- Preferred Skills & Experience
■English (business level)
■Experience in deposits and withdrawals, payments, or account management at a bank, securities firm, FX company, or crypto asset exchange service provider
■Operational experience at a funds transfer service provider, payment agency, or remittance service
■Experience creating and improving operational manuals, checklists, and workflows
■Basic knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about, crypto assets, blockchain, and financial products- Who We Are Looking For

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥4,000,000–¥8,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥246,534–¥493,167
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥86,800–¥173,500 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※A performance-based bonus is provided separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: Shift system (8 prescribed working hours per day)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
