Internal Audit (Manager / Member)

Background
As the regulatory framework for the crypto asset industry matures, companies are increasingly expected to excel at governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). With business expansion and more sophisticated regulatory requirements, bitFlyer is strengthening its internal audit function to ensure the transparency and soundness of its operations. In this position, we are looking for a specialist who can contribute to company-wide governance through conducting internal audits and evaluating and improving controls.
Responsibilities
Formulating internal audit plans and conducting audits (operations, accounting, segregated management of customer assets, IT, etc.)
Conducting business process audits of each division
Confirming and evaluating compliance with laws and internal rules
Preparing audit reports and reporting to management
Proposing corrective actions to improve internal controls and following up
Scope of change in duties: After joining, you may be reassigned to any duties designated by the company.
- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (native level)
■Hands-on experience in internal audit at a financial institution or external audit at an audit firm (3+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■English (business level)
■Hands-on internal audit experience at a financial institution or IT company
■Hands-on experience with J-SOX compliance and internal control evaluation
■Experience leading negotiations and interactions with audit firms and authorities

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥6,000,000–¥12,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥369,800–¥739,800
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥130,200–¥260,200 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
