Server-Side Engineer (Manager / Member)
Background
With the continuous expansion of features and performance improvements in our crypto asset trading services, bitFlyer is strengthening its backend development structure. Growing the development organization is an urgent priority so that we can build systems that combine high reliability with speed. In this position, we are looking for someone whose mission is to deliver the best possible product to customers, who works with ownership, and who can drive the evolution of our products and systems.
Responsibilities
Designing and developing backend systems for the crypto asset exchange
Developing back-office features such as document generation and reporting
Designing and implementing web applications and APIs using C# / ASP.NET
Software architecture design and technology selection
Raising the team's technical capabilities through knowledge sharing and technical leadership
Contributing technically to new product development

- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (conversational level)
■Hands-on backend development experience using C#, Java, Go, Python, or similar (3+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■English (business level)
■Experience developing large-scale services
■Development experience with financial systems
■Experience designing and developing web APIs

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥6,000,000–¥12,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥369,800–¥739,800
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥130,200–¥260,200 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
