Trader (Manager / Member)
Background
As our customer base grows and we strengthen our earning power, bitFlyer needs more sophisticated dealing and market-making operations in the crypto asset market. We are building a structure that maximizes trading revenue through optimized liquidity provision, more advanced risk management, and stronger algorithmic dealing and OTC trading. In this position, we are looking for someone who can contribute to strengthening the organization in the trading domain — the core of our revenue — through both hands-on work and team management.
Responsibilities
Dealing and market making
Dealing for customer transactions, revenue analysis, and position and risk management
Designing and executing market-making strategies and improving performance
Monitoring trading systems, detecting anomalies, and responding
Algorithmic dealing
Designing and operating automated trading strategies using algorithms
Developing and optimizing pricing / cover logic
Improving trading strategies based on data analysis and developing tools
Other related work
Pricing, deal structuring, and risk management for OTC block trades
Scope of change in duties: After joining, you may be reassigned to any duties designated by the company.
- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (business level)
■English (business level)
■Hands-on trading experience at a financial institution, including risk-taking and P/L responsibility in proprietary trading or market making (5+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥9,000,000–¥18,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥554,800–¥1,109,700
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥195,200–¥390,300 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
