Treasury (Manager / Member)
Background
bitFlyer is strengthening the management framework for company and customer assets, strictly complying with the capital adequacy ratio requirements, and optimizing its global funds management. As part of this, we are looking for someone to handle day-to-day operations and operational improvements across treasury, including negotiations with financial institutions in Japan and overseas and engagement with industry associations and the Financial Services Agency.
Responsibilities
Maintaining and operating the segregated management and safeguarding framework for company and customer assets
Calculating and managing the capital adequacy ratio
Managing funds in Japan and overseas and planning cash flow
Managing crypto asset and fiat currency holdings (including building and operating the wallet management framework)
Managing contracts and transactions with cover-trade counterparties and financial institutions and building relationships
Risk management and reporting related to treasury operations
Preparing and submitting statutory reports (for the Financial Services Agency and industry associations)
Defining requirements and designing related systems
Scope of change in duties: After joining, you may be reassigned to any duties designated by the company.
- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (native level)
■Experience in any of funds management, settlement, operations, or back-office work (3+ years)
■Basic Excel skills (functions, pivot tables, etc.)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■English (business level)
■Basic knowledge of financial markets, finance, and accounting
■Experience handling matters with the Financial Services Agency and industry associations

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥5,000,000–¥10,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥308,167–¥616,434
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥108,500–¥216,900 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
