Internal Controls (Office Head / Manager)

Background
At the rapidly growing bitFlyer group, upgrading and strengthening our internal control framework — starting with J-SOX compliance — is an urgent priority. With global expansion and more sophisticated regulatory requirements, we need a highly effective control foundation that goes beyond conventional, operations-centered responses. In particular, we expect this role to lead the internal control framework end to end — from design through development, operation, evaluation, and improvement — and to drive up the level of governance across the company. In this position, we are looking for someone to lead the building and continuous improvement of our governance foundation at the core of internal controls.
Responsibilities
Building, maintaining, and running the internal control framework
Designing and operating the internal control framework, including J-SOX compliance
Developing and enhancing internal controls across the group, including domestic and overseas subsidiaries
Developing and revising internal rules and manuals
Proposing and executing improvements to business processes and rules
Designing and improving business processes
Driving initiatives to improve and streamline business processes
Strengthening internal controls through system and process improvements
Cross-divisional project management
Leading the development, operation, and improvement of internal controls and coordinating with related divisions
Embedding and promoting corporate governance across the entire organization

- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (native level)
■Hands-on experience with internal control / governance projects at an audit firm or consulting firm, or with building, evaluating, and improving internal controls at an operating company (5+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■English (business level)
■Hands-on internal audit experience
■CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification
■Hands-on experience with system audits at financial institutions

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥9,000,000–¥18,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥554,800–¥1,109,700
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥195,200–¥390,300 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
