AI Strategy (Office Head / Manager)
Background
Anticipating an era in which the autonomous intelligence of AI agents converges with blockchain as a permanent data foundation, bitFlyer aims to establish itself as a platform provider in this domain. In this position, you will oversee the formulation and execution of our AI strategy and, through the conception and implementation of innovative products such as AI-dedicated wallets, stablecoin payments, and SaaS plugins, lead the creation of the foundations of a next-generation market in which AI acts as an economic agent.
Responsibilities
Formulating and executing the company-wide AI strategy (covering both operational efficiency and new product creation)
Building AI investment policies and AI governance frameworks in collaboration with management
Conceiving and driving the development of AI × blockchain products (AI-dedicated wallets, stablecoin payments, SaaS plugins for AI agents, on-chain data analytics platforms, etc.)
Designing infrastructure and driving PoCs that enable AI agents to conduct economic activities autonomously
Coordinating implementation with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, planning, legal, and compliance)
Setting the strategy for, and overseeing, internal AI platforms, data pipelines, and MLOps environments
Establishing AI risk management and AI ethics standards and embedding them across the company
Driving alliances with external partners (AI vendors, research institutions, and blockchain protocols)

- Required Skills & Experience
■Japanese (business level)
■English (business level)
■Experience leading AI/data strategy or DX strategy from planning through execution and delivering business or operational transformation (5+ years)- Preferred Skills & Experience
■Experience owning the planning and implementation of AI models / LLMs / AI agents through to productization
■Experience launching new businesses or products from zero to one (PoC through product release)
■Experience building consensus with management and business divisions and driving projects
■Experience designing and implementing AI agents / multi-agent systems
■Experience planning and growing SaaS / platform businesses
■Knowledge of AI governance and ethics, data privacy, and security
■Experience driving AI adoption or product development in the finance, fintech, or crypto asset industry

- Salary
■Expected annual salary: ¥9,000,000–¥30,000,000
※Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours per month
※Determined based on experience, skills, and most recent annual compensation
■Monthly salary breakdown
Base salary: ¥554,800–¥1,849,600
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥195,200–¥650,400 (for 45 hours)
※If fixed overtime hours are exceeded, additional premium pay is provided for overtime, late-night, and holiday work
※Performance-based bonuses are paid separately- Working Hours
■Employment type: Full-time (no fixed term)
■Probation period: 6 months (no change in working conditions during probation)
■Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (flextime system; core time 10:00–16:00)
■Break: 60 minutes (provided during working hours)
